The Information and Communications Technologies for Development in Faith-Based Initiatives (ICT4DF) Network was established from a shared interest in addressing world poverty and improving the quality of life in underdeveloped regions by leveraging ICTs. Faith leaders participating in Infopoverty programs and/or the Infopoverty World Conference (IWC) expressed a desire to meet and generate an agenda for better leveraging ICTs in faith-based initiatives. Responding to this need, a steering committee was formed to explore ideas and established the International Faith Based Leadership Summit--first hosted at the United Nations Church Center in New York, NY, April 9, 2014.
PURPOSE
The Network seeks to bring together faith-based organizations with government leaders, non-government organizations (NGOs), information and communications technology (ICT) practitioners, international development and relief experts, and other public and private resource organizations to maximize the impact of international development/relief efforts with sustainable, efficient and effective solutions.

The Network is focused on two primary goals related to missions, outreach and international development/relief efforts:
